Placencia Shuttle
Placencia Shuttle takes you to a coastline village which has been a top location for tourism in Belize. Belize Shuttle to Placencia is a 3.5 hour drive to one of Belize most prestige beaches. The sands are a bit course but the scene is just beautiful! It’s a barefoot destination. Where no shirt, no shoes, no problem are allowed. Furthermore, this village is a peninsula with approximately 25 kilometes of thick lush sandy beach. Introducing to its south you have the crystal blue Caribbean sea and backing up from the West it host the Placencia lagoon.
Placencia known for its friendly and laid back environment and amazing beaches. A village that is home to many expats and luxury resorts and hotels. Nevertheless, most of these expensive resorts are located on the north end of Placencia, known as the Maya Beach area. In the southern part is the village itself where other mid-range hotels are along with variety of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, tour operators and so forth.
A Placencia shuttle takes you on all of Belize major highways. Well at least highways to us. You take off from the international airport and on to the Philip Goldson Highway. After you’ll get onto the George Price Highway. Thereafter turn south onto the Hummingbird Highway. Finally hitting the Southern Highway which gets you to the Placencia 25 miles road junction. This drive is very mountainous and the views are jaw dropping. Hence the ride doesn’t feel as long, as you’re totally distracted by our Belizean environment. When we’re just 13 miles out of Placencia you’ll be able to see the Caribbean Sea all the way until your feet hits its sandy beaches. Writing about it is one thing and seeing it for yourself is unbelizeable.
